Program Advisor

Susanna Joy is a Program Advisor and FIMR lead at the National Center. Her work focuses on enriching state and community-level fatality review processes and improving community and state systems to prevent fetal, infant, and child fatalities. She provides consultation, technical assistance, and training to FIMR and CDR teams, with a focus on maternal and child health service delivery. Mrs. Joy provides virtual and in-person facilitation services and coordinates special projects for the National Center. She holds a Master’s in Health and Risk Communication from Michigan State University and is a doctoral student at Western Michigan University.
