Senior Project Coordinator
Joshua Thomas is a Senior Project Coordinator for the National Center. Mr. Thomas’ work focuses on providing technical assistance, collaborating with national partners, and supporting the implementation of evidence-based frameworks to improve health equity in fatality review settings. Prior to joining the National Center, he served six years as the Director for the Florida Department of Health’s Child Abuse Death Review Unit and Florida’s CDR Coordinator. Mr. Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University, and a Certificate in Public Health Executive Leadership from the University of South Florida College of Public Health. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with family, exploring new cuisines, and anything on or near the Gulf Coast beaches of Florida.
