Senior Project Coordinator
Edege Vales is a Senior Project Coordinator for the National Center, a role she has held since early 2024. She supports CDR Teams and collaborates on other projects. Previously, Ms. Vales spent 14 years with the State of Georgia, including seven years as a Senior Behavior Analyst, training interdisciplinary teams and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. She then served as Program Manager for the State Child Death Review team, enhancing child death investigation protocols. In 2023, she became the State CDR Coordinator, overseeing policy implementation and partner engagement. Ms. Vales holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of Old Westbury and a Training Instructor Certificate from the Georgia Peace Officer Standards Training Council. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys, playing soccer, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
